(I understand why each printer has its own unique toner or ink cartridges - it is to fend off the third-party - but it makes no sense whatsoever to have each printer work differently with regard to the kind of things that I mentioned above.) And recognizes any of the software in more than one of the printers, so I have to remind what software to use for the printer. With HP, I have to learn a new set of commands each time that I have set up a new printer. The program will also tell you all printers (their brand) connected to your network or your computer - a really nice feature. What you need to do is what than some of your competitors don't: they have a unique software that allows you to access one of their printers of this one program and allows you to check the level of toner, print, scan, etc., using the same commands of this program software. I got the idea that HP is really a cottage industry - a bunch of small fiefdoms that make their own similar products and who refuse to come together to provide things like uniform user interfaces.

For example, I'm lucky to have five different HP printers in my small home office, not to mention the three I replaced with new ones, and each of them is different in terms of: how to tell you how much toner/ink rest, how tell you if there are features such as eprint, you assign to their place for two-sided printing, how you tell them to scan how access you it from a computer (and this works differently on PC and Mac), etc.

Here's the problem: all your products work differently, even if they do similar functions, and to an end user, this is an extremelyt situation of frustration. It is a criticism that I have communicated for years, but apparently my gripes go through a wormhole to the HP because you guys never change. Since you're an HP employee, let me turn on my biggest gripe on HP products. Support on the eprint line does not yet list my printer that has the feature, so that it becomes impossible to download some eprint associated documentation and other. Instead, trying other commands and options, I finally found the eprint option. It turns out that the MFP476 is support eprint, but none of the controls you mentioned is available on my printer. But when I try to use this software it does not list this printer as one who takes in charge eprint. The software supplied with this printer MFP 476 all-in-one multifunction laser says I can use it to access the eprint features. I fear not, only the models lised below supports HP ePrint service:Ĭolor Laserjet MFP476: mfp476 - supports eprint or not? Is it posible to activate service for these model eprint? I have the HP Laserjet P4015x printer and color of HP LaserJet CP2525dn they are old model model. HP P4015x Laserjet and HP Color LaserJet CP3525dn can support eprint?

I don't see anything in the manual mentions automatic duplex. The hp laserjet m125 does support automatic duplex printing? I can only understand how manually to do duplexing so far.
